You might have heard an Alarming Youtube video declaring flatly — “Why is it “IMPOSSIBLE” for Humans to Reach MARS” by Michio Kaku
Well, its not the first time Mr. Kaku (famous for Wormholes and Strings) has been wrong.
Our Sun like most other stars, produces an occasional blast from Coronal Mass Ejections (CMEs) along with high energy radiation, solar energetic particles (SEPs) consisting of protons, electrons, alpha particles and plasmas.
Yes, its a serious problem, but it was recently solved with clever ideas (that have been around for decades) and practical experiments.
Just like Star-Trek’s Force field, researchers have created a mini-magnetosphere that works as a deflector shield.
Problem solved.
Yes the shield (so far) may have to be a couple hundred meters/yards across, but it won’t require tons (literally) of water or lead.
