Buttered Cat Paradox

The Buttered-Cat Paradox is a fascinating experiment in levitation.

You know how cats always land on their feet? And how a dropped slice of buttered bread always lands butter-side down?

So when you attach slice of buttered bread to a Cat’s back – what do you think happens?

Because the Buttered Bread to the Ground Force (BBttG) is roughly equal to the Cat Feet First Force (CFFF) — the cat with buttered bread levitates in mid air – spinning rapidly.

(BBttG – CFFF) ~ zero

Up to a point, you can increase the levitation height by adding more butter.
