Observer Effect is a magical explanation of particles that claims that physics changes, that particles act differently when you are watching them.
Love this very clever summary by “Officer Thomas P. Starkey” in the Journal of Irreproducable Results —
“If an electron were not being watched,
it would do something different.”
So, I imagine you are wondering – How does an electron know it is being watched ?
Or perhaps – What if you watched the electron from a distance, where it wasn’t that visible? Would it still know?
Yet many who were trained in particle physics do not think this is laughably absurd.
