Bhaktivedanta Institute’s 50 Year Celebration<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

I’m honored by a kind invitation to give a keynote Cosmology Lecture for Bhaktivedanta Institute’s Golden Jubilee in Kolkata India taking place March 16-22, 2026.<\/a><\/p>\n

The Institute’s theme is “Where Science and Spirituality Meet.<\/strong><\/em>” The conference is entitled “Voyage Through the Cosmos<\/strong><\/em>.”<\/p>\n

(And Yes, they still want my talk even though I’ve let them know I have no religious expertise.)<\/p>\n

My presentation is entitled “Bubbles and Voids versus Fancies – Oh My <\/em>!<\/strong><\/p>\n

It covers<\/p>\n

1) how Unlimited Inspiration must be Tempered by Carefully Limited Hypotheses & Calm Logic, <\/strong><\/p>\n

2) <\/strong>Logical Fallibilism – meaning My Claims could be Wrong<\/strong>, a<\/em>nd<\/p>\n

3) I’ll illuminate the pros and cons of leading Cosmology Models and Theories. <\/strong><\/p>\n

What makes this a rather special honor for me is how so many Nobel Prize winners have given talks for this institute<\/strong> including Dr. Linus Pauling<\/strong> (a former Big Sur Neighbor<\/strong>), Sir Roger Penrose, Prof. Werner Arber, Prof. Charles H. Townes, Prof. Alan MacDiarmid, Prof. William D. Phillips, Prof. Paul Lauterbur, Prof. Ahmed Zewail, and Prof. George Wald.<\/p>\n

Not to mention, our March program is overflowing with many of Cosmology’s most prominent names and researchers: Louis Marmet (Redshift)<\/a>,\u00a0Sandra Faber (Great Attractor & <\/a>UC Santa Cruz <\/a>)<\/a>, George Ellis<\/a>, Tim Eastman<\/a> (NASA & Plasma), Paul Steinhardt (Cyclic Universe)<\/a>, Wendy Freedman (Hubble distance measurements)<\/a>, and many more.<\/p>\n

What’s fascinating to me is how none of the speakers are fierce defenders of Big Bang. In fact, the talk by Chicago University’s celebrated Wendy Freedman’s is entitled “Is There Something Missing From Our Current Understanding of the Cosmos?<\/em>“<\/strong><\/p>\n

My lecture will provide the latest powerful evidence showing Universe Expansion is an illusion.<\/strong> It will also explain how Cosmic Microwave “Background” – isn’t background<\/strong>. The main reason is whole-sky microwave “cameras” have such spectacularly pathetic resolution (86,000 times worse then Hubble images). Imagine taking family photos with a camera that only has One-Pixel. Worthless. That’s about how bad COBE was.<\/p>\n

Newer satellites WMAP and PLANCK have improved resolution, but they are still astoundingly inadequate (58,000 times worse resolution than Hubble – not a misprint<\/strong>) to prove microwave “Background” even exists.<\/p>\n

So maybe my 2008 public prediction is\u00a0 sloooowly coming true – that Big Bang will soon collapse like a House of Cards.<\/strong><\/p>\n
