You might have heard an Alarming Youtube video declaring flatly — “Why is it “IMPOSSIBLE” for Humans to Reach MARS” by Michio Kaku<\/p>\n

Well, its not the first time Mr. Kaku (famous for Wormholes and Strings) has been wrong.<\/a><\/p>\n

The single problem he illuminates is Solar radiation. Our Sun like most other stars, produces an occasional blast from Coronal Mass Ejections<\/a> (CMEs) along with high energy radiation<\/a>, solar energetic particles<\/a> (SEPs) consisting of protons<\/a>, electrons, alpha particles and plasmas.<\/a> This is a real problem, a potentially deadly one, but it has been solved in a practical sense recently. <\/p>\n

Yes, its a serious problem, but it was recently solved with clever ideas (that have been around for decades) and practical experiments.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Just like Star-Trek’s Force field, researchers have created a mini-magnetosphere that works as a deflector shield.<\/a><\/p>\n

Problem solved.<\/p>\n

Yes the shield (so far) may have to be a couple hundred meters\/yards across, but it won’t require tons (literally) of water or lead.<\/p>\n
