I’m invited to give my talk “Top Ten Big Bang Myths” for the\u00a0Astronomical Society of Western Australia.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is the newer version of the talk I gave at MIRA.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Cotteslo, WA, Nov. 7, 2018: Astronomical Society of Western Australia (ASWA) is hosting a free talk – Top Ten Big Bang Myths<\/strong> on November 12, 2018 8:45pm, presented by visiting cosmologist and Editor of CosmologyScience.com<\/strong><\/a>, David Dilworth of Carmel, California.<\/p>\n

“Big Bang is the most popular Cosmology model but it is widely misunderstood.<\/strong><\/em>” Dilworth will illustrate and explain some of Big Bang’s biggest misapprehensions and clarify what Big Bang cosmologists actually claim. He will draw from his Glossary of Cosmology Principles<\/strong> <\/a>which is among the most popular on the web.<\/p>\n

David said “We’ll discuss how just like modern coffee (mocha frappe, lattachino — with or without whipped cream or cinnamon), Big Bang has a huge menu of choices. We’ll also examine the difference between recession and expansion, and clarify a bunch of other inspiring ideas.<\/strong><\/em>”<\/p>\n

The public is welcome to the talk which will take place at South Perth Bridge Club, Corner of Brittain Street and Barker Avenue, Como WA 6152<\/p>\n

For those who wish to get an introduction to astronomy, a Beginners Education workshop begins at 7:00 pm. ASWA also hosts a telescope lending program.<\/p>\n
