This is thanks to friends, colleagues and you readers. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>This year articles from two authors on <a href=\"http:\/\/cosmologyscience.com\/cosblog\/\">CosmologyScience.com<\/a> were nominated:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/cosmologyscience.com\/cosblog\/observation-of-two-early-mature-galaxies-rare-objects-or-is-big-bang-model-inaccurate\/\">Observation of two early yet mature galaxies: Rare objects or is Big Bang model inaccurate?<\/a>&#8221; by the brilliant <a href=\"http:\/\/www.marmet.org\/louis\/\">Louis Marmet<\/a> of Canada&#8217;s National Research Council,<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/cosmologyscience.com\/cosblog\/observation-of-two-early-mature-galaxies-rare-objects-or-is-big-bang-model-inaccurate\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" title=\"Mature Galaxies - Too Far\" src=\"http:\/\/www.eso.org\/public\/archives\/images\/screen\/eso1143b.jpg\" alt=\"Mature Galaxies - Too Far\" width=\"194\" height=\"146\" \/><\/a>\u00a0and<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><!--more-->my own &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/cosmologyscience.com\/cosblog\/cosmic-microwave-angular-resolution-surprise\/\">Cosmic Microwave Angular Resolution Surprise<\/a>.&#8221; Both articles gathered many more votes than several articles from Scientific American.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Last year the article &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/cosmologyscience.com\/cosblog\/iau-not-interested-in-big-bang\/\">International Astronomical Union has no Definition for Big Bang<\/a>&#8221; was not only nominated &#8211; it was the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.3quarksdaily.com\/3quarksdaily\/2011\/06\/3qd-science-prize-semifinalists-2011.html\">third most popular in the public voting<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Such a nice feeling to have friends who appreciate my writing enough to nominate it and vote for it; c&#8217;est &#8220;Hotissimo&#8221; as my dear friend Paula would say.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>I am thrilled and very appreciative.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Thank you.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Its no big secret that holding a contest is a way to attract people to your project, work or website.
