I&#8217;ll let you know right here when and where it is available.) <\/p>\n<p><b><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cosmologyscience.com\/glossary.htm#Redshift\">Redshift<\/a> occurs when <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cosmologyscience.com\/glossary.htm#Spectralines\">spectral lines of light or other electromagnetic radiation<\/a> from astrophysical objects (like galaxies) show up in longer wavelengths than normal (in a laboratory experiment), apparently resulting in energy loss. It is the primary measuring &#8220;stick&#8221; used to determine cosmological distances. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cosmologyscience.com\/glossary.htm#Redshift\">Redshift<\/a> is measured several ways, in several wavelength bands, though surprisingly rarely in the visible light range. It has a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cosmologyscience.com\/glossary.htm#ErrorMargin\">huge variance or margin of error<\/a> that is not widely appreciated, and is evidently caused by several independent phenomena.<\/p>\n<p>Blueshift is the reverse &#8211; when <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cosmologyscience.com\/glossary.htm#Spectralines\">spectral lines<\/a> move towards shorter wavelengths apparently meaning an increase in radiation energy. Blueshift has been observed in radiation emitted by hundreds of galaxies and billions of stars.<\/p>\n<p><u>Importance<\/u>: The interpretation of Spectral line Redshift as <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cosmologyscience.com\/glossary.htm#Expansion\">Universe expansion<\/a> is the primary support for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cosmologyscience.com\/glossary.htm#BigBang\">Big Bang models.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>. . .\n<\/p>\n<p><\/b>(This is a sample &#8220;taste&#8221; of the article.
